Senate Democrats, Republicans to be targeted in round 2 of recalls - JSOnline

SEPAC endorses and supports the RECALL OF WALKER. However, as of this posting, SEPAC has not reviewed or taken any position on a recall of any additional state senators. SEPAC most likely, but again, has not made any formal decision, will not support any recall of any state representative because they are all up for re-election in 2012.

WisBusiness.com: Gov. Walker: Weekly radio address: Making government more efficient

SCOTT WALKER wants to tout a small $100,000 savings to date for the Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS). What he does not tell you is about the great amounts of money that has been spent for additional, security equipped Chevrolet Suburbans that he uses in a secret service style motorcade for his safety as he travels the State of Wisconsin.

SCOTT WALKER is certainly not a popular person, but his security concern is having eggs and rotten tomatoes thrown at him. For that, he adds well equipped Chevrolet Suburbans and a host of State Troopers. Now that expenditure is a waste of taxpayer dollars.

Bill would bring back collective bargaining

The Democrats are giving it a try, but it is unlikely that Wisconsin Republicans will agree with them, at least in the Assembly. Watch the SEPAC website for more on this issue. It is worth our engagement to possibly make it happen.

Republican lawmaker's proposal would change how Wisconsin awards electoral votes | Appleton Post Crescent | postcrescent.com

No matter how this republican wants us to believe that it will benefit President Obama, if that were true, they would not write it up and push for implementation. Since January of 2011 the Wisconsin GOP under the leadership of SCOTT WALKER has been changing voter laws to benefit their re-elections or hopefully to save themselves from recall elections.

Consumer groups, attorneys criticize proposals backed by Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, Republicans | Appleton Post Crescent | postcrescent.com

Every day that the GOP remains in majority control here in Wisconsin us consumers continue to be at risk. Now we will be limited even more on protecting ourselves from bad medications. The Wisconsin GOP wants us to think we will save money if we are limited from suing a pharmaceutical company because of a bad medication.

Maybe, just maybe, it may be something to consider if the savings were passed onto the consumer in the form of much lower prices, but we know it most certainly will not. This is yet another way to protect the pharmaceutical companies, to increase their profits in order that these politicians can get nice contributions for their campaigns.

AFSCME Sec./Treasurer Lee Saunders to Appear on MSNBC "PoliticsNation" at 5pm CDT

This is just a heads-up to let you know that Secretary-Treasurer Saunders will be on MSNBC’s “PoliticsNation” show tonight (6 pm EST). He will be talking about this weekend’s rally and march for jobs in Washington, DC (commemorating the Martin Luther King memorial); the need to keep fighting for the American Jobs Act; and our support for Occupy Wall Street and similar gatherings now taking place across the country.

"Walker recall may also target Kleefisch " by Latest News -- GazetteXtra

This does not seem to be an important task in that the Lt. Governor is more or less a show piece. If WALKER were recalled the democratic challenger would be Governor and would have control.

Of course, the Lt. Governor could be a thorn in ones side, but the Governor could strip the Lt. Governor of several tools thus limiting the Lt. Governor's abilities.

The decision has been made; RECALL SCOTT WALKER!

The decision that has not yet been made is; who will challenge him? However, at this point in time one would think that the old lady who always asked; "where's the beef" could probably very easily defeat SCOTT WALKER.

The best candidate that would literally trounce SCOTT WALKER has stated he will not challenge SCOTT WALKER in a recall election. That person is former U.S. Senator Russ Feingold. The last poll to matchup Feingold against Walker had Feingold winning 57% to 42%.

Other names now floating around to challenge SCOTT WALKER, but with no confirmed positions of any of these people are;
  1. Peter Barca, Assembly Minority Leader
  2. Tom Barrett, Milwaukee Mayor
  3. Jon Erpenbach, State Senator
  4. Kathleen Falk, former Dane County Executive
  5. Ron Kind, U.S. Congressman from the 3rd CD
  6. Dave Obey, Retired U.S. Congressman from the 7th CD
All of the above possibilities would be good for Wisconsin, but if anyone reading this posting has powers that can be used to have Russ Feingold change his mind, please step forward and cast them onto Russ.

Also, on another note, it is being rumored that the inner circle for president Obama has great concerns about the recall election in Wisconsin during the presidential election. SEPAC can simply say that we would have been willing to listen to those concerns had President Obama done something tangible during the beating that Wisconsin public employees and many other Wisconsinites were taking when SCOTT WALKER and the Fitzgerald Brothers attacked the majority of Wisconsinites. Now however, we feel the recall of SCOTT WALKER is of greater importance, even if we want President Obama to be re-elected in 2012. Wisconsinites have had enough and need to do everything in their power to oust SCOTT WALKER from his dictatorship, as soon as possible.

The Associated Press: Wis. Assembly Speaker Fitzgerald to run for Senate

Speaker Jeff Fitzgerald cannot read or hear. He thinks he can win the U.S. Senate seat held by Senator Herb Kohl because he carried through on the anti-collective bargaining bill. More than half of the voters who will vote in his election support recalling Scott Walker because of his introduction of the anti-collective bargaining bill. Now how does Jeff Fitzgerald think he will sway those same voters to vote for him when they want to oust his own leader? Well, stupid is what stupid is...

We’ve just learned that the Senate will vote today on the American Jobs Act. This bill would put hundreds of thousands of people back to work immediately rebuilding our nation’s infrastructure and keep 300,000 teachers, police officers and other first responders on the job. The bill would also extend unemployment benefits for the long-term unemployed for an additional year. The bill pays for these job-creating measures by instituting a 5.6% surtax on annual household incomes above $1 million. President Obama has noted that the American Jobs Act would be “fully paid for, asking millionaires and billionaires to pay their fair share.”

Please call right now and tell your Senators to vote yes to get this jobs bill moving! 1‑888‑665‑9823

Attorney objects to metal detectors in Wisconsin Capitol | Appleton Post Crescent | postcrescent.com

Concealed weapons SHOULD BE ALLOWED within the State Capitol. After all, that is where the laws of our society are drafted, submitted and in some cases, like the recent carry-conceleade law, are passed into law. It is only fitting that people entering the State Capitol be allowed to carry concealed weapons so long as all provisions of the new law are met and complied with.

What is Governor Scott Walker afraid of, "non-compliance" by a person carrying a concealed weapon? Is he afraid that someone might get hurt or worse, killed? Should have been thinking of those things when this law was created rather than the Wisconsin GOP flexing their "because we can" muscle and just making it happen.
